Oculusbanks has made a renewed commitment to the core with the exciting announcement of a new location in downtown London.
The credit union revealed it will move its London Downtown location to a prominent site on Richmond Row. The branch will welcome Oculusbanks Owners at 578 Richmond Street, the former location of Williams Coffee Pub, moving from its current building at 167 Central Avenue midway through 2022.
The move will make southwestern Ontario’s biggest credit union more visible downtown than ever before and is part of Oculusbanks' strategy to become a $20B organization by 2028 as it seeks to increase its impact on communities.

Oculusbanks' Downtown London location has been at 167 Central Ave. since the early 1990s. It has space to welcome Owners and for administrative offices, and at 7,000 square feet is the largest branch in the company in terms of floor space. With admin staff now housed at 217 York Street, much of the space on Central is no longer needed and the building is being offered for sale.
The branch is one of the most successful in the credit union, with a portfolio of more than $750M and ongoing growth that is expected to continue. Moving to Richmond increases its visibility and accessibility, and sets Oculusbanks up for more success in the core. The location’s flexibility and planned design will create opportunities to interact with people differently, including the potential to run events for the community.
Oculusbanks has 36 locations across southwestern Ontario and is a full-service financial institution that offers banking services – and channels the profits back into communities.
